Metaphysics of Essential Oils:
Where Science and Energetics Meet
Cynthia Brownley, MS, LMT, CA, RA & Joy Musacchio, MA, LMT, CA, RA
July 6-8, 2018
Metaphysics by definition is a branch of philosophy concerned with explaining the fundamental nature of being and the world, although the term is not easily defined.
Science by definition is the intellectual and practical activity encompassing the systematic study of the structure and behavior of the physical and natural world through observation and experiment.
You really cannot separate the physical from the energy. It is like saying you can separate the physical body from the soul. We find the same to be true for essential oils and the plants and trees. There is a unique and deep synergy that exists in everything. To only consider the therapeutic components of an oil is selling the oils short because there is only “scientific” evidence on 60 components. Some of the components can not be separated from each other because they can not exist without each other. There is something more tapping into that is so powerful.
- Connecting to the subtle energies of essential oils
- See how oils are connected to the chakra system
- Learn how chakras are connected to the Physical Body
- Learn about the four different ways that we receive information
- Learn how to use Applied Kinesiology to locate where an imbalance lies
- Learn which essential oils are beneficial for protection, meditation, and many emotional imbalances such as PTSD and Depression.
- Learn how to trust your information.
Cynthia and Joy have shared a blackboard, so to speak, for many years. Cynthia and Joy have been teaching together for over 20 years, and bring their combined knowledge and authenticity of education and essential oils to every class they teach. They both have their Master's Degree in education, taught elementary school in New York and worked extensively with Columbia University as "turn key " teachers to train the teachers in their district.
Cynthia and Joy are certified clinical aromatherapists and have been working with essential oils for over 20 years. In 2010, they co founded Stillpoint Aromatics, and essential oil company that imports over 200 organic and wild harvested essential oils, hydrosols, and resins from distillers worldwide. All of the essential oils at Stillpoint Aromatics are GC/MS tested for their chemical composition, but of equal importance is the energetic and vibrational component. Cynthia and Joy hand pour each essential oil with conscious intention for the individual when an order is received.
In 2010, they co founded Stillpoint Studies-School of Essential Oils and Energetics. Stillpoint Studies earned accreditation of both the National Association of Holistic Aromatherapy (NAHA) and the Alliance of International Aromatherapists (AIA) in 2012.
